G-i-P Report: A Djordje was to Moria…

It is very strange (and stupid?). Last summer LEGO has announced the set „Battle the Cave Troll in The Mines of Moria!”. One of the panels in the Mines of Moria set is decorated with text written with the runes. They are in fact the same Futhark we know from The Hobbit (so they are not the Cirth from The Lord of the Rings). And they read:
Diordie [or Djordje] was here
Djordje is reportedly one of the designers that was working on the LotR LEGO theme…
G-i-P stands for Gwaith-i-Phethain, ‘The Fellowship of the Word-smiths’ or the linguistic website devoted to post-Tolkienian constructions in the “reconstructed” languages of Middle-earth [link].
